NMFS Proposes Exempted Fishing Permit for Research in Atlantic Sea Scallop Fishery

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, NMFS, has made a preliminary determination that an Exempted Fishing Permit application contains all required information and warrants further consideration. The permit would allow a commercial fishing vessel to fish outside of limited access scallop days at sea in support of research by the Coonamessett Farm Foundation.
