EU Energy Consumption Remains Stable, 5% Above 2020 Targets

The European Union's primary energy consumption in 2018 was 1.376 million tonnes of oil equivalent, 0.71% less than the previous year, while secondary energy consumption was 1.046 million tonnes of oil equivalent, 0.43% less than the previous year, both still 5% and 3% above their 2020 targets, respectively.
