The International Monetary Fund Managing Director, Kristalina Georgieva, COP28 President-Designate, Sultan Al Jaber, World Bank Group President, Ajay Banga, and UN Special Envoy for Climate Action and Finance, Mark Carney, have released a joint statement on climate finance, outlining their commitment to mobilizing $100 billion in climate finance by 2025 and supporting developing countries in their efforts to achieve the Paris Agreement goals.
