CFTC Expands Use of Legal Entity Identifiers for Swap Data Reporting

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has issued an amended order expanding the use of Legal Entity Identifiers for swap data reporting, following mutual acceptance by international regulators, and revising a 2012 order requiring the use of LEIs for swap recordkeeping and reporting.
