IAEA Launches First Regional Radiation Protection Training Course for Caribbean States

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has launched its first Postgraduate Educational Course (PGEC) on Radiation Protection and the Safety of Radiation Sources for Caribbean countries, marking an important milestone in strengthening radiation safety in the region, with the goal of reducing exposure to ionizing radiation and promoting the safe use of radiation sources in medical and industrial applications.
