NMFS Cancels Federal Moratorium on Atlantic Coastal Shark Fishing in New Jersey Waters

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) lifted the federal ban on fishing for Atlantic coastal sharks in New Jersey state waters, as required by the Atlantic Coastal Fisheries Cooperative Management Act, following New Jersey's compliance with the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission's Interstate Fishery Management Plan for Atlantic Coastal Sharks.
