Disparities in decision and sentencing outcomes between Indigenous accused and White accused in youth courts in Canada, 2016/2017 to 2022/2023

Indigenous accused in Canadian youth courts were slightly more likely to receive a guilty decision than White accused, despite controlling for crime severity, and were more likely to receive harsher sentencing outcomes.
