FMCSA Grants Six-Month Exemption to Allow Paper Copy of Medical Examiner's Certificate

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has granted a six-month exemption to allow motor carriers and drivers to rely on a paper copy of the medical examiner's certificate for up to 60 days after issuance, in response to a request from the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA).
