NMFS Prohibits Directed Fishing for Pacific Cod in the Central Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has prohibited directed fishing for Pacific cod by catcher vessels using trawl gear in the Central Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska to prevent exceeding the A season allowance of the 2025 total allowable catch.
