NMFS Prohibits Directed Fishing for Pacific Cod in the Gulf of Alaska
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is prohibiting directed fishing for Pacific cod by vessels using jig gear in the Central Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska to prevent exceeding the 2025 total allowable catch (TAC).
