NMFS Prohibits Retention of Shortraker Rockfish in Central GOA
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has prohibited the retention of shortraker rockfish in the Central Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska, except for catcher/processors checked-in to the Central GOA Rockfish Program, due to the 2025 total allowable catch being reached.
