NMFS Makes Preliminary Determination on Exempted Fishing Permit Application

The National Marine Fisheries Service has made a preliminary determination that an Exempted Fishing Permit application by the Commercial Fisheries Research Foundation warrants further consideration, allowing federally permitted fishing vessels to fish outside regulations in support of exempted fishing activities.
