Bureau of Land Management Rescinds Notice to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Oil and Gas Leasing Decisions

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is rescinding its notice to prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS) for oil and gas leasing decisions in seven states from February 2015 to December 2020, a decision announced in a January 16, 2025, Federal Register notice.
