Proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Assigning Certain Federal Environmental Responsibilities to the State of Maine, Including National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Authority for Certain Categorical Exclusions (CEs)

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the State of Maine propose a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the State to participate in the Categorical Exclusion Assignment program, allowing FHWA to assign its authority for certain activities in Maine under the National Environmental Policy Act.
