NMFS Prohibits Directed Fishing for Pacific Cod in Western Regulatory Area of Gulf of Alaska
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has prohibited directed fishing for Pacific cod by catcher vessels using trawl gear in the Western Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska to prevent exceeding the 2023 total allowable catch.
