US Fish and Wildlife Service Finds Gray Wolf in Western United States Not Warranted for Listing
The US Fish and Wildlife Service announced that gray wolves in the Northern Rocky Mountains do not represent a valid listable entity, while those in the Western United States are a valid listable entity but do not meet the definition of an endangered or threatened species.
