Coast Guard Establishes Safety Zones for Offshore Wind Farm Construction in Outer Continental Shelf

The US Coast Guard is establishing 179 temporary safety zones around the construction of 176 wind turbine generators and three offshore substations in Federal waters off the coast of Virginia, from May 1, 2024, to May 1, 2027.
