U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Lists Suwannee Alligator Snapping Turtle as Threatened Species

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has determined threatened species status under the Endangered Species Act of 1973 for the Suwannee alligator snapping turtle, a large freshwater turtle species found in Florida and Georgia.
