NMFS Prohibits Retention of Pacific Cod in the Gulf of Alaska

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has prohibited the retention of Pacific cod by catcher/processors using trawl gear in the Central Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska due to reaching the 2023 total allowable catch.
