U.S. Nomination to the World Heritage List: U.S. Civil Rights Movement Sites
The U.S. government has decided to request Georgia State University's World Heritage Initiative to prepare a draft nomination of U.S. Civil Rights Sites for UNESCO's World Heritage List, following consultation with the Federal Interagency Panel for World Heritage and public review.
