FAA adopts new airworthiness directive for Airbus Canada Limited Partnership Model BD-500-1A11 airplanes

The FAA is issuing a new airworthiness directive to address an unsafe condition on certain Airbus Canada Limited Partnership Model BD-500-1A11 airplanes, related to a thermal runaway event caused by lithium batteries in a personal locator beacon.
