EPA Extends Temporary Exemption for BLB2 and AMR3 Proteins in Potatoes

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has extended a temporary exemption for residues of BLB2 and AMR3 proteins in potatoes, used as plant-incorporated protectants, until March 31, 2025. J.R. Simplot Company submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) for this exemption.
