DHS Proposes to Amend Homeland Security Acquisition Regulation

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is proposing to remove a clause and subpart from the Homeland Security Acquisition Regulation (HSAR) that prohibits awarding certain Federal contracts to institutions of higher education that prohibit Reserve Officer Training Corps units or military recruiting on campus, as the provisions are no longer needed due to amendments made in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in December 2020.
