FAA adopts new airworthiness directive for Airbus planes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive for Airbus Model A330-200, -200 Freighter, -300, -800, and -900 series airplanes, and A340-200 and -300 series airplanes, following a report of incorrect maintenance manual instructions that could lead to an uncontrolled fire.
