US FDA Exempts Potassium Carbonate as Biochemical Fungicide

The US FDA has granted an exemption to Biofungitek, S.L. allowing the use of potassium carbonate as a biochemical fungicide in food commodities without a required tolerance level, provided it is used according to label directions and good agricultural practices.
