Employment Authorization for Certain Lebanese F-1 Nonimmigrant Students Experiencing Severe Economic Hardship as a Direct Result of the Current Humanitarian Crisis in Lebanon

The Department of Homeland Security is suspending certain regulatory requirements for Lebanese F-1 nonimmigrant students experiencing severe economic hardship due to the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon. The Secretary is providing relief to these students, allowing them to request employment authorization and adjust their work and course load.
