U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Designates Critical Habitat for Longsolid and Round Hickorynut Freshwater Mussels

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has designated critical habitat for the longsolid and round hickorynut freshwater mussels, and finalized a rule under section 4(d) of the Endangered Species Act to conserve these species, with approximately 1,115 and 921 river miles designated for the longsolid and round hickorynut, respectively.
