FAA Drafts Policy Statement on Disclosure of New Systems for Transport Category Aircraft

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is revising its procedures to require applicants for type certificate amendments to transport category aircraft to disclose new systems and changes to existing systems at the beginning of the certification process, as mandated by the Aircraft Certification, Safety, and Accountability Act.
