U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Introduces Guam Kingfisher to Palmyra Atoll as Experimental Population

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is introducing the Guam kingfisher (sihek) to Palmyra Atoll as an experimental population under the Endangered Species Act of 1973. The reintroduction is intended to gather information and analysis to support a potential future reintroduction to Guam.
