Federal Maritime Commission to Maintain 2025 Civil Monetary Penalty Levels for 2026

The Federal Maritime Commission will not increase civil monetary penalty amounts for the 2026 calendar year, as the Office of Management and Budget has advised against a cost-of-living adjustment.
