Implementing Schedule Policy/Career in the Excepted Service

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is implementing a new schedule policy and career development opportunities for employees in the Excepted Service, a category of federal employees who are not subject to the same hiring and promotion rules as competitive service employees.
