Coast Guard Amends Oil Spill Removal Equipment Requirements

The US Coast Guard has updated its regulations for oil spill response, requiring vessel and facility owners to demonstrate their preparedness for mitigating oil spills and report this information to the Coast Guard for emergency response planning.
