Coast Guard Clarifies Vessel Response Plan Requirements for Oil Tank Vessels

The US Coast Guard has clarified that while the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has approved the information collection requirements for vessel response plans related to oil tank vessels, the compliance date for updating these plans remains February 22, 2011, as per the Salvage and Marine Firefighting final rule.
