Coast Guard Establishes Safety Zone Around Burning Offshore Platform in Gulf of Mexico

The US Coast Guard has set up a safety zone around the VERMILION 380A fixed platform, located 90 miles south of Vermilion Bay, Louisiana, to protect responders and prevent potential oil spills and gas releases during the ongoing fire.
