EEOC Rescinds Affirmative Action Guidelines

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is rescinding its 1979 Affirmative Action Guidelines, citing inconsistencies with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and lack of support from Supreme Court precedent, due to their obsolescence and limited scope to only benefit women and minorities.
