EPA Establishes Tolerance for Permethrin in Black Pepper

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has set a maximum permissible level of 0.1 parts per million for permethrin residues in black pepper, following a petition from the American Spice Trade Association, Inc. under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
