EPA Exempts Calcium Carbonate from Pesticide Tolerance Requirement

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted an exemption to Columbia River Carbonates from the requirement of a pesticide tolerance for residues of calcium carbonate in food commodities, following a petition submitted under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
