OSM Rejects Most Montana Regulatory Program Amendments, Except One

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) is not approving an amendment to the Montana regulatory program under the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, except for one exception. Montana House Bill 328 proposes changes to the Montana Code Annotated, including a definition of affected drainage basin and bond release application requirements.
