FMCSA Receives Application for Exemption from Driver Prohibition Due to Cardiovascular Condition

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has received an application for an exemption from a driver prohibition due to a cardiovascular condition, allowing an individual with an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) to operate commercial vehicles in interstate commerce if granted.
