OSMRE Approves Amendment to West Virginia Regulatory Program

The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) has approved an amendment to the West Virginia Surface Coal Mining and Reclamation Act, requiring the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection to develop a database to track reclamation liabilities at coal mining operations in the state.
