EPA Grants Exemptions for Bacillus thuringiensis Cry1A.2 and Cry1B.2 Proteins in Soybean

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has granted exemptions from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of the Bacillus thuringiensis Cry1A.2 and Cry1B.2 proteins in soybean, allowing Bayer CropScience LP to use these proteins as plant-incorporated protectants without establishing a maximum permissible level for residues.
