EPA Fails to Act on Kentucky Ozone Redesignation Request, Proposed Consent Decree Filed

The Commonwealth of Kentucky has filed a complaint against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, alleging it failed to timely approve or deny a request to redesignate the Louisville, Kentucky-Indiana ozone nonattainment area to attainment, and a proposed consent decree has been filed to establish deadlines for EPA action.
