Amtrak Requests Amendment to Positive Train Control System

Amtrak submitted two requests for amendment to its Interoperable Electronic Train Management System (I-ETMS) on October 3, 2025, to perform stability and reliability upgrades, and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is inviting public comment on the requests.
