EPA Approves Kansas Lead NAAQS Redesignation

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the State of Kansas' request to redesignate portions of Saline County, including the Salina area, to attainment for the 2008 lead National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS), with a 10-year maintenance plan.
