OSMRE Revises Federal Regulations for Coal Reclamation Funding

The US Department of the Interior's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSMRE) has issued a direct final rule to revise federal regulations regarding the distribution of funds for coal reclamation. The rule aims to eliminate outdated language related to obsolete funds, which were replaced by the US Treasury's General Fund in 2007.
