FMCSA Requests Public Comment on Exemption for Autonomous Commercial Motor Vehicles

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is seeking public comment on an application by Intelligent Motorist Alert Messaging Systems (IMAMS) to exempt autonomous commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) from traditional warning device requirements, allowing them to use IMAMS's dynamic digital LED messaging platform instead.
