FAA adopts new airworthiness directive for ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Régional Model ATR42-500 and ATR72-212A airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive to address a safety concern related to the lateral flight guidance system on certain ATR-GIE Avions de Transport Régional Model ATR42-500 and ATR72-212A airplanes, which may not function properly in severe icing conditions.
