Zein Exemption From the Requirement of a Tolerance

The US Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA APHIS) has submitted a petition to the EPA to establish an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of zein in pesticide formulations applied to animals. This exemption eliminates the need to establish a maximum permissible level for residues of zein when used in accordance with the terms of the exemption.
