NRC and Wyoming Sign Amended Agreement on Regulatory Authority

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the State of Wyoming signed an amended agreement on April 20-21, 2026, allowing Wyoming to assume regulatory authority over source material from mineral resources processed for purposes other than uranium or thorium content.
