NRC Issues Environmental Assessment and Exemptions for Long Mott Generating Station Project

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing an environmental assessment and finding of no significant impact for the proposed Long Mott Generating Station in Texas, which would authorize the construction of four Xe-100 small modular reactors. The NRC is also granting exemptions from certain requirements to satisfy its obligations under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969.
